  1. I wonder how many touches, which I think will be A LOT, Rhamondre Stevenson (RB-NE) might be getting against the Colts, as Damien Harris and Pierre Strong are both Questionable and Ty Montgomery has been shut down for the season.
  2. In that same game, I wonder how good of a play Deon Jackson (RB-Ind) really is.  I “think” he will get touches and will be a solid Bye Week fill-in, but if Zach Moss is active, Jackson’s value takes a slight hit.
  3. I wonder if we will tell our grandchildren about the time we saw a healthy D’Andre Swift (RB-Det).  Given the amount of players on Bye this week, if he is active, I would still feel compelled to play him.  If he does not play, obviously Jamaal Williams (RB) gets a bump in value, though even when Swift missed games earlier this season, Williams has not played more than 50% of the snaps.  Craig Reynolds (RB) and Justin Jackson (RB), based on recent history, will fill out the rest of the snaps in the case of a Swift absence, with Reynolds being the preferred option of the two, if you are desperate.
  4. I wonder if a Green Bay receiver will step up against Detroit.  If Allen Lazard (WR) plays, he is the safest.  If he is out, then who will it be:  Romeo Daubs, Christian Watson (Questionable), Samori Toure, Sammy Watkins?  I still think Watson could become the guy at some point this season.  If he plays, Detroit’s defense is a good starting point.
  5. I wonder if we should just accept the apparent reality that Robert Saleh and the coaching staff simply do not believe Michael Carter (RB-NYJ) can be a feature back.  They immediately trade for James Robinson (RB) after Breece Hall’s injury.  In Carter’s 22 game career, he has never had more than 15 rushing attempts.  Hall topped that in his 4th career game, and followed it up with 18 rushing attempts in Week 5 and 20 in Week 6 before getting injured in Week 7.  Thus, it is not like Saleh and the coaches are against the concept of a feature back. It just seems that they are against the concept of Michael Carter being a feature back.
  6. With Jeff Wilson, Jr. (RB-Mia) now in town, I wonder how Mike McDaniel will use him.  I think this may fall into the range of a 65% – 35% split, with Raheem Mostert having the larger share; HOWEVER, Wilson may get the valuable goal line snaps.  I suppose we will find out tomorrow.
  7. Coming off a Bye Week in Week 8, I wonder if Kansas City might actually make a concerted effort to actually give Isiah Pacheco (RB) a legitimate chance, a chance, at the very least, at being the main back in whatever committee that is in that backfield.  I think if it is going to happen this season, without an injury, it would happen tomorrow.
  8. I wonder how good of a receiver Josh Palmer (WR-LAC) is.  Tomorrow’s match-up against Atlanta’s porous secondary, without Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, is a golden opportunity for him to prove himself.  And staying with the same game, DeAndre Carter (WR) is not a bad play as a Bye Week fill in, as he should get opportunities as well.
  9. The game between the Los Angeles Rams and Tampa Bay is interesting.  I wonder if either team’s offense will turn the corner, specifically regarding the running games.  It looks like Cam Akers (RB-LAR) may get another chance.  I have discussed in the past that it has been obvious the coaches do not view Darrell Henderson (RB) as anything more than a change-of-pace back.  Add to that the reality that the coaches “welcomed” Akers back to the team.  Still, I am not sure if the coaching staff views him as an answer to the running game issues as much as simply a stopgap at this point.  As for Tampa Bay, Leonard Fournette (RB) is averaging 3.4 ypc, which is not good.  However, Rashaad White (RB) is actually doing worse, with a 3.0 ypc.  I fear these issues will not be going away anytime soon, as the offensive line continues to struggle.  That said, Fournette has maintained value with his involvement in the receiving game, and so could White if something changes in that backfield.
  10. And finally, I wonder if you were able to find the perfect hiding place, would it no longer be the perfect hiding place, since you found it?
