I grabbed the talented rookie everywhere I could this week. QB Gardner Minshew loves Josh Downs deep and Minshew is the starting QB for the rest of the season. Downs is a great bye week fill in moving forward. This is a fantasy gold situation.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling WR Kansas City Chiefs
3 rec, 5 targets, 84 rec yards, 1 TD
Good game for MVS, but he is not the Chiefs WR I want moving forward. He will have a few more good games, but Rashee Rice is the Chiefs WR I want. If Rice is available then grab him. If he is not then let someone else chase MVS. He is fools gold.
Jake Bobo WR Seattle Seahawks
4 rec, 5 targets, 61 rec yards, 1 TD
This scenario is similar to MVS in Kansas City. Bobo had a good game and may pop again this season, but WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the WR I am picking up if these players are on the wire. However, Smith-Njigba is probably not on your wire and Bobo should stay there.
Taysom Hill TE New Orleans Saints
4 rec, 5 targets, 50 rec yards, 5 rush att, 18 rush yards, 1 rush TD
You could do a lot worse at TE and you probably are at this point in the season. New Orleans seems intent on getting Hill touches which is rare it seems among tight ends this season. While HIll is not going to challenge the numbers of Kelce, LaPorta or Kittle this season, he will produce better than half the TEs started each week. Hill in the right matchups is fantasy gold.
Darrell Henderson Jr. RB Los Angeles Rams
18 rush att, 61 yards, 1 TD
From couch to starting running back for the Los Angeles Rams for Darrell Henderson Jr. Does not say much for the value of running backs to teams when the Rams can pull a guy off his couch to lead the team in rushing attempts and yards. If I needed a RB for the Rams it would be Henderson. His comeback is a good story and he should be useful for your team until RB Kyren Williams returns. If you need help at RB then this is probably your best option on the wire.
