A player on your radar had a big game. Do you pick him up? This is where we decide whether their forecast is fantasy or fools gold.

Brandin Cooks WR Dallas Cowboys
9 rec, 10 targets, 173 rec yards, 1 rec TD

This WR1 CeeDee Lamb’s team this year and for years to come, but Cooks had himself a day as the Cowboys rode the Giants hard. Cooks is a good receiver and it looks like the Cowboys are hitting their stride as an offense, meaning he should have some good games ahead. Weeks 14-17 should be high scoring games for the Cowboys and Cooks should eat those weeks. He’s not an every week starter, but is a great fill in when your players are on a bye.

Noah Brown WR Houston Texans
7 rec, 8 targets, 172 rec yards

Brown is a must add if Collins is going to miss some more games. Without WR1 Nico Collins and RB1 Dameon Pierce, the Texans aired it out this week and will likely need to do the same in upcoming weeks. You want a piece of this Texans offense and Brown is probably your best opportunity to do so. Start Brown and feel good about it any week with Collins of the sidelines.

Rico Dowdle RB Dallas Cowboys
12 rushes, 79 rush yards, 1 rush TD

Dowdle did his damage in garbage time this week, so he is not a priority pick up. Unless you have Tony Pollard on your team then Dowdle makes sense as insurance. Don’t pick him up unless you need to grab Pollard’s back up.

Jayden Reed WR Green Bay Packers
5 rec, 5 targets, 84 rec yards, 1 rec TD

Reed let the Packers in receptions and receiving yards in Week 10, and that should be the trend moving forward. I am not a fan of QB Jordan Love thus far this season, because his play has depressed every player on the offensive side of the ball. However if you feel the need to have a receiver on this team, then I prefer Reed over Watson and Doubs for the rest of the season.

Ty Chandler RB Minnesota Vikings
15 rush, 45 rush yards, 1 rush TD

If you are desperate at RB or you were still trotting Alexander Mattison out there every week, then Chandler makes sense. The Vikings have some nice matchups the next few weeks and QB Joshua Dobbs has this offense moving down the field. Should Mattison miss a game, then Chandler would earn the bulk of snaps at RB. If that is the case, then you could do worse.
