Reaction to Week 7: Is 7 a lucky or unlucky number for you? Did you sit who I told you to sit? Is 7 a lucky number for me? Let’s see. At QB, I said to sit Russell Wilson and Kyler Murray. Wilson ended up with 264 yards passing, 3 yards rushing, and 3 TDs. I am glad I was wrong to sit him. Murray had 145 yards passing, 64 yards rushing, 2 TDs, and a pick. Just enough. I was wrong to sit him too. At RB, I said to sit Najee Harris and Bucky Irving. Harris had 102 yards rushing and a TD. Again, I am glad that I was wrong to sit him. Irving ended up with 23 yards rushing, 54 yards receiving, and a TD. I was wrong to sit him. Four for four so far. At wide out, I said to sit Jerry Jeudy and Michael Pittman, Jr. Jeudy had 18 yards receiving and nothing else, so I was right to sit him. Finally! Pittman ended up with 63 yards and nothing else, so I was right to sit him too. On a roll. For the tight ends, I said to sit Dalton Kincaid and Tucker Kraft. Kincaid ended up with 52 yards receiving and nothing else. Not quite good enough, so I was right to sit him. Kraft had less receiving yards with only 33, but he got a score so I was wrong to sit him. For the team defenses, I said to sit the Texans and the Chiefs. The Texans lost, gave up 24 points, along with a fumble recovery, 3 sacks, and 2 picks. The extras make it close, so let’s call this one a push. The Chiefs won, again, gave up 18 points, along with a sack and 3 picks. Once again, I was wrong to sit them. Looks like #7 is not so lucky on the sit side for me. Let’s see what week 8 brings us.

QB:

Kyler Murray: I was unsuccessful to sit him last week, but this week he is going up against the #1 ranked passing D in the league in Miami. I will be right to sit him this time.

Trevor Lawrence: He hasn’t really lit it up, and he has a Packers D that just held Stroud to less than 100 yards passing. Not a good sign for Lawrence fans.

RB:

Nick Chubb: Better hope for a cheap rushing TD, for the Ravens, who have been abysmal against the pass, have been solid against the run.

Chase Brown: Speaking of teams better against the run than the pass, Brown has a top 10 rush D in Philly this week. Look for more of Moss as a receiver than Brown as a runner in this game.

WR:

Terry McLaurin: If Daniels is a no go for Sunday, for sure sit McLaurin out. If Daniels plays, and you have better options, sit McLaurin out anyway for he will be going up against a top ranked pass D in Chicago.

Chris Olave: He is coming off a concussion, but he is coming back against a top 3 ranked pass D in the Chargers. Not a good comeback matchup.

TE:

Pat Freiermuth: He will be going up against a Giants team that is top 5 against the position. Not a good matchup here either.

Sam LaPorta: Do you dare? If you have someone else, you might consider, for he is going up against the Titans, who, weirdly enough, are the top ranked team against tight ends.

D:

Falcons: On the road against Tampa after just giving up 34 points to Seattle in Atlanta. I know Tampa is without their top 2 wide outs, but this Falcons D is floundering, and I do not trust them.

Browns: How frustrating to have a good D but a terrible offense? It will keep them close for awhile, but they will wear out and end up losing to the Ravens who have just too much firepower for the Browns offense to overcome.
