Reaction to Week 6: The regular season is ⅓ of the way done. Is there a 66% chance that you will finish last in your league? Let’s see how my sitters from week 6 fared. First of all, at QB, I said to sit Trevor Lawrence and Justin Herbert. Lawrence ended up with 234 yards passing, 17 yards rushing, 2 TDs, and a pick. Just over projections so I was wrong to sit him. Herbert had 237 yards passing and a singular TD. Not quite there, so I was right to sit him. At RB, I said to sit Chuba Hubbard and Javonte Williams. Hubbard had 92 yards rushing, 11 yards receiving, and nothing else. Under his projections, so I was right to sit him. Williams ended up with 23 yards rushing, 13 yards receiving, and lost a fumble. I was very right to sit him. At wide out, I said to sit Christian Kirk and Josh Downs. Kirk ended up with 39 yards receiving and nothing else so I was right to sit him. Downs, however, had 66 yards and a TD making me wrong to sit him. For the tight ends, I said to sit Dalton Kincaid and Dallas Goedert. Kincaid had 51 yards and nothing else. Just short, so I was right to sit him. Goedert ended up with no yards so I was very right to sit him too. For the team defenses, I said to sit the Cowboys and the Browns. The Cowboys got handled. They lost, gave up 47 points, along with 3 sacks. I was very right to sit them. The Browns also lost, gave up 20 points, along with only 1 sack. I was right to sit them too. Alright, week 6 is done and Lucky Number Slevin is up. Let’s see who we should sit for this week.

QB:

Kyler Murray: He has not been who we thought he would be, and this week he has the Chargers who have given up the least amount of points so far.

Russell Wilson: He’s no Andy Dalton. At least against the Jets solid secondary he won’t be. Not worth the risk. Don’t do it.

RB:

Najee Harris: Speaking of the Steelers. He is going up against a rush D in the Jets that is a bit more real than what Harris faced last week. His numbers will go back to what they have been.

Bucky Irving: Put him back on the pine, for he has a Ravens D, while not so bueno against the pass, are very bueno against the run.

WR:

Jerry Jeudy: Don’t fall for the trap. Just because Cooper was traded away, and Jeudy will be the de facto #1, he is still Jerry Jeudy.

Michael Pittman, Jr.: Anthony Richardson is back, plus the Colts will be going up against a top 3 pass D in Miami. The signs point to a drop for him from his recent production. (If he is a no go, then you can easily sub in Josh Downs here, or whomever is their top wideout, and bench them in lieu of.)

TE:

Dalton Kincaid: Let’s keep him on the bench, even though he is top 10 ranked this week. The Titans are tough against the position, so not a good matchup.

Tucker Kraft: Looks like his production will not be there when all the Green Bay wide receivers are actually healthy. Additionally, he is going up against a top 3 D in Houston against the position. All the signs are there.

D:

Texans: On the road at Lambeau breeds a possible 2nd loss for them. I think they will miss Collins and not be able to keep up with Love.

Chiefs: On the road against San Fran, a team that is starting to get some of their pieces back. Seems like a good chance for the Chiefs to chalk up their first loss of the year.
