Reaction to Week 4: Our 1st month of crappy sitters is under our belts. Let’s see who was actually crappy and made me right. First off, at QB, I said to sit Jared Goff and Matt Stafford. In his game, Stafford had 224 yards passing, a pick, and a fumble. I was right to sit him. Goff ended up with all kind of perfect stats that makes me look real bad, so I do not want to share those. Let’s just say that I was wrong to sit him. At RB, I said to sit Walker/Charbonnet and J. K. Dobbins. Dobbins ended up with 32 yards rushing, 30 yards receiving, and nothing else. I was right to sit him. Walker had a great game and Charbonnet not so much. A push here for these 2. At wide out, I said to sit Zay Flowers and Tyreek Hill. Flowers ended up with 10 yards and nothing else. I was right to sit him. Meanwhile, Hill ended up with 23 yards receiving, 19 yards rushing, and nothing else. I was right to sit him too. At tight end, I said to sit Hunter Henry and Mark Andrews. Henry ended up with 12 yards and nothing else, while Andrews ended up with 0 yards and nothing else. I was right to sit both of them. Regarding team defenses, I said to sit the Broncos and Chargers. The Broncos got the W, held the Jets to 9 points, along with 5 sacks and a fumble recovery. I was wrong to sit them. The Chargers ended up with the L, gave up 17 points, along with 3 sacks, 1 pick, and a fumble recovery. I was wrong to sit them too. That’s enough being wrong on whom to sit. Let’s get into who I will be right to sit for week 5.

QB:

Sam Darnold: Vikes 1st defeat? Maybe. Sam’s worst statistical game passing so far? Most likely so, since he is going up against the Jets who have the top passing D in the league.

Patrick Mahomes: Do you dare? I hope I am not jinxing the Saints, but they have only given up 1 passing TD along with gathering 6 picks so far. Do it!

RB:

Zack Moss: He has had 3 of 4 good games. This week, he has a top 5 run D in Ball More. Not a good matchup.

Breece Hall: He had a bad game, to say the least, this past week. Doesn’t get much better against a top 3 rush D in Minnesota. Could be another bad one.

WR:

Dontayvion Wicks: Even with Doubs and Watson most likely out, I don’t buy his last game as regular. Love spreads himself around. Wicks is not worth the risk in the hope he will shine again.

Jakobi Meyers: With Adams out, he is the team’s de facto #1, but he is going up against a top 3 pass D in Denver whose #1 corner will #1 him out of statistical glory.

TE:

Zach Ertz: Cleveland has been solid against tight ends so far. Daniels will look for others to shine against them. Not a good matchup.

Pat Freiermuth: He had a good game last week against Indy, but he has a Cowboys D that has also been good against the position. Not a good matchup for him either.

D:

Jets: Maybe its their offense that I want to sit. This week they have an undefeated Vikings team that is good across the board. The Jets aren’t. I don’t trust their offense to do their part, thereby making their D a bad choice this week.

Browns: On the road against a hot and talented Jayden Daniels and Commanders team. Not one I would count on for this usually solid D.
