Reaction to Week 3: First off, I noted I would have benched Barkley that game; therefore, by the transitive property, I would have benched Breida too. Well, he got 1 yard receiving and only 17 yards rushing, but he did get a fortunate TD. While this would have been below average for Barkley, it is above average for Breida. So, unfortunately, I was barely wrong, but still right in a way kind of way to sit him. And for the tight ends, I said to start Kittle and bench Waller. Well, Kittle had 90 yards receiving to Waller’s 20 with neither getting a score. I was right about both of them.

Our 4th week’s Thursday night game has a show down between the Lions and the Packers in Lambeau. It should be a good game. On who you might consider starting and sitting, let’s start with the Packs ground game. The Lions have done well against RBs so far this year, so this would be a good game to bench Jones and/or Dillon no matter which one starts. I think this will also be a good game to play both side’s kickers. Yeah, I went there; I included kickers in a start/sit article. And by emphasizing the kickers, you would be right to think that I would also think that this might be a fairly low scoring game. Thus, when you think of fairly low scoring games, you must also think about the team’s defenses too. And now you have figured out what else I think – both defenses are good options to play too. Finally, I wouldn’t risk playing any of the irregulars, but your regulars like Love, Goff, St. Brown, etc may be tempered. Play them if you must, but expect the worst and hope for the best.
