Reaction to Week 3: We are 17.64705 percent of the way done with this year’s NFL season. I think that is the same percentage I have of still winning my fantasy league. PUT MY GUYS ON THE IR SO I CAN PICK UP SOME OTHER PEOPLE! I digress. Let’s see how I did with the week 3 starters. First off, I said to start Jared Goff and Andy Dalton at QB. In his game, Goff had 199 yards passing, 2 TDs, and a pick. That is below projections making me wrong to start him. Meanwhile, I was spot on on Dalton. He tore it up with 319 yards passing and 3 TDS. Regarding RBs, I said to start Tony Pollard and Brian Robinson, Jr. In his game, Pollard had 14 yards rushing, 15 yards receiving and nothing else. I was wrong to start him. Robinson, Jr., ended up with 33 yards rushing, but he got a TD, thereby putting him just over the top making me right to start him. Regarding the wide outs, I said to start Brandon Aiyuk and Jameson Williams. In his game, Aiyuk was poor with only 48 yards receiving and nothing else. Overpaid? I was wrong. Williams was worse with only 9 yards making me wrong to start him too. For the tight ends, I said to start Jake Ferguson and Kyle Pitts. Ferguson ended up with 95 yards and nothing else. Good enough; I was right. Pitts had 59 yards and nothing else. Not quite good enough; I was wrong. As for the team defenses, I said to start the Colts and the Raiders. The Colts got the W, held the Bears to 16 points, and had a fumble recovery, 2 picks, and 4 sacks. I was right to start them. The Raiders ended up losing, gave up 38 points and only had 2 sacks as extra. I was wrong to start them. Alright, now that that is over, let’s see what I have for week 4.
QB:
Caleb Williams: Was last week a turn around game? Maybe. He will have another chance to stat up against a bottom 3 Rams pass D.
Justin Fields: He is up against a Colts team that just gave up over 360 yards to the before mentioned Williams. Others have also had solid numbers against them. He has gotten better with each game. This one even better?
RB:
Zach Moss: Carolina has been bad against the run, plus he has been getting more touches each game. Good chance here.
Tony Pollard: Dolphins have given up 6 rushing TDs in 3 games. Oh yeah. Sounds delicious.
WR:
D. J. Moore: His numbers have increased each week, and now, he is going up against a bottom pass D in the Rams. 1st TD of the year and/or 100 yard game seems about right.
George Pickens: He is going up against a bottom 5 pass D in Indy. 1st TD of the year and/or 100 yard game for him too.
TE:
Mike Gesicki: Carolina is statistically 2nd worst in the league against the position. Even with the weapons back, he still had decent yards last week. A TD this week?
Dalton Kincaid: The vaunted Ravens have been horrible against this position so far this year. Signs are there, as long as Knox doesn’t get in the way.
D:
Texans: The way the Jags have been playing this year, a home game for the Texans against them seems like a lock by this talented offense.
Falcons: Their D has been solid so far this year, and now a home game against a division rival. It should be juicy. If last week’s Saints team is the one that shows up, my money is on the dirty birds.
