Reaction to Week 3: We are 3/17s done with this year’s NFL season. Where do you stand? Let’s see how my prognostications to sit stand, er sit. First of all, I said to sit Anthony Richardson and Trevor Lawrence. Richardson had 167 yards passing, 24 yards rushing, and 2 picks. I was right to sit him. Lawrence had 178 yards passing, 3 yards rushing, 1 TD, and a pick. I was right to sit him too. Startin’ off strong. For the RBs, I said to sit Dobbins and the Dallas RBs. Dobbins ended up with 44 yards rushing, 10 yards receiving, and nothing else. I was right to sit him. In their game, the Dallas RBs of Elliott and Dowdle had 6 yards rushing, 6 yards receiving and nothing else for Elliott, while Dowdle ended up with 32 yards rushing, 24 yards receiving, and nothing else. I was right to sit both of them. For the wide outs, I said to sit Michael Pittman, Jr. and Drake London. Pittman had 36 yards and nothing else making me right to sit him. While London only had 67 yards, he managed to get a score making me finally wrong about someone here this week. For the tight ends, I said to sit Saints tight ends and Zach Ertz. The top Saint producing tight end was Foster Moreau who had 1 catch for zero yards making me right to sit all of them. Ertz ended up better with 38 yards, but he also did not score making me right to sit him too. For the team defenses, I said to sit the Broncos and the Giants. The Broncos got the W, held the Bucs to 7 points, and also got a fumble recovery, a pick, and 7 sacks. I was wrong to sit them. The Giants also got a W. They held their opponent to 15 points, and then gathered 2 fumble recoveries and 8 sacks as extras. I was wrong to sit them too. Kind of ended on a bad note there. Anyway, let’s get into week 4 on who we should sit.

QB:

Jared Goff: He has been poor this year, and this week he goes up against a top 3 pass D in the Hawks. Not a good matchup.

Matt Stafford: No top 2 WRs and a Bears pass D that is #1 against the pass so far. Another not so good matchup.

RB:

Walker/Charbonnet: Bench both, or just Charbonnet if Walker ends up not playing. Detroit has the #1 rush D in the league.

J. K. Dobbins: Keep him benched. He is going up against the Chiefs, another solid team against the run.

WR:

Zay Flowers: He may be the Ravens #1 WR, but he will not be a #1 WR in your heart this week as he goes up against a top 3 pass D.

Tyreek Hill: He still has a crappy backup QB trying to get him the ball. Need I say more? If so, they are going up against a top 5 pass D, so there’s that too.

TE:

Hunter Henry: He has been all or nothing so far this year. Another week of nothing is on his horizon as he goes up against the top team against the position.

Mark Andrews: He is top 5 ranked for this week against a Bills D that has been vulnerable to the position. Don’t buy it. Likely is more likely to be liked in this game as a starter.

D:

Chargers: Their D has been solid, but I don’t think they will be able to keep up with KC, especially if Herbert doesn’t end up playing.

Broncos: They proved me wrong last week at Tampa, but with the Jets solid D and a capable offense, I don’t think the Broncos offense will be able to keep up. They will not prove me wrong this week.
