Reaction to Week 2: Week 2 is already done. This season is flying by. So, let’s see how my start picks panned out, and if they are keeping you in the running for your championship. First of all, at QB, I said to start Brock Purdy and Deshaun Watson. Purdy ended up with 319 yards passing, one TD, and 2 TOs. Not good. I was wrong. Watson had 186 yards passing, 20 yards rushing, and a rushing TD. Also, not good enough; I was wrong here too. At RB, I said to start James Conner and J. K. Dobbins. Conner had 122 yards rushing, 2 yards receiving, and a TD. I was right to start him. Dobbins ended up with 131 yards rushing and a TD. I was right to start him too. At wide out, I said to start Brandon Aiyuk and Malik Nabers. Looks like I was wrong to start Aiyuk for he only had 43 yards rushing and no score, but I was on the money about Nabers for he did get his first TD and he got his 100 yard game with 127 yards to be exact. At tight end, I said to start Brock Bowers and Tucker Kraft. Bowers did not get his TD, but he ended up with 98 yards receiving so I was right to start him. Kraft, however, only had 16 yards with no score so I was wrong to start him. For the team defenses, I said to start the Steelers and the Chargers. The Chargers got the W, held the Panthers to 3 points, had 2 sacks and a pick. I was right to start them. The Steelers also got the W. They held the Broncos to 6 points, had 2 sacks, and 2 picks. I was right to start them too. I love when a plan comes together. Okay, let’s see what Week 3 brings us.
QB:
Jared Goff: If you have benched him, time to put him back in your starting lineup as he goes up against an Arizona team that will give up some stats.
Andy Dalton: I think the last time he came off a bench, he lit things up. He will be better than Young for sure, and if you need a Hail Mary already, call it a hunch, but I say he has a solid game against the Raiders.
RB:
Tony Pollard: He has a Green Bay team that has given up a 100 yard rusher in both games so far. So, why not a 3rd?
Brian Robinson, Jr.: He has had 2 solid games so far, and this week he is going up against a Cincy team that has given up a rusher over 100 yards and another that got 90 yards. Good chance he has another solid game.
WR:
Brandon Aiyuk: No Deebo against a weak secondary in the Rams. He has to stat up this week, right?
Jameson Williams: He has had 2 solid games, and this week he has a matchup against a vulnerable Cardinals D. This game could be a shoot out.
TE:
Jake Ferguson: He is supposed to be back, and he will be going up against a Ravens D that is vulnerable to tight ends so far this year.
Kyle Pitts: He has the Chiefs, another team that has been pilfered by the tight end position. The signs are there for him to have a game.
D:
Raiders: Whoever plays the Panthers is whose team defense is to be played each week. This week it is the Raiders turn.
Colts: Oh and two and a home game against a Bears team that is still looking for itself. The signs are there for a win against a below average offensive team.
