Reaction: Spoiler alert, if you have already read the starter article, you know that i was not very good on who to start last week. Hopefully I did much better on the sitter’s side. At QB, I said to sit Jordan Love and Dak Prescott. Well, I did not receive any Love from him for this for he outperformed by far what I thought, keeping me on my loserly ways. But alas, Dak to the rescue with his 143 yards passing with no TDS making me right to sit him. On to the ball handlers, I said to sit D’Andre Swift and J. K. Dobbins. I was quite right about Swift. I was also right about Dobbins. Like I said, he might sneak in a score for you, which he did. His total output was probably average so a push here, but since i told you about the score, I say i was right about him. On the wide outs, i said to sit Mike Evans and D. J. Moore. Once again, i got one wrong – Evans who got reasonable yards and a score, and I got one right – Moore who had 25 yards and no score. For TEs, I said to sit Okonkwo and all Bills tight ends, and finally, I got both prognostications correct. Okonkwo had zero yards and the Bills tight ends got 25 and 26 yards with no TD apiece. Finally, I said to sit both the Dolphins and the Chargers defenses. Well, the final score was 36 to 34 and neither team got enough “extra stuff” to make them a good defensive play, thereby making me right to sit both of them. Looks like i did much better on the sitters. Let’s see who i have sitting this week.

QB:

Dak Prescott – Can i go 2 for 2 on him? He has the Jets this week who picked off Allen 3 times in the first week. They have a top secondary. Sit Dak again.

Kenny Pickett – Did you see how bad things looked last week? And this week he has the Brownies who shut down Joe Burrow. No thanks.

RB:

LA Rams RBs – Bench both Akers and Williams. The San Fran D, especially against the run, is top notch.

James Cook – With Harris and Allen getting the goal line carries, I just do not see enough opportunities between the 20s for him to be worth a start.

WR:

CeeDee Lamb – See notes on Dak Prescott.

Drake London – He is their #1 wide out, but last week he had only 1 target and no catch. Not what you want from a #1. This needs to change before we get in the trust tree with him.

TE:

Bills TEs – See last week’s notes.

Hayden Hurst – He is the tight end playing the Saints this week – bench him.

Defenses:

Raiders – They get a Bills team who lost a heartbreaker. Bounce back game for them.

Lions – Speaking of bounce back games, i say Seattle has one of those this week too and the Lions, who, might i say, benefited from some poor receiving play of the Chiefs.
