Before we get into Week 2’s Sitters, let’s see what i got right and what i got wrong with the sitters from week 1.

QB: Stafford and Brady – right, right, right, right, right, right. Goff – kind of a push there. However, regarding the Honorable Mentions – wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong.

RB: I was right on with Kamara and if the TD by Harris would have been a run vs a pass, i would have been spot on with him. I was also right about Dolphins RBs, Ravens RBs, and Chiefs RBs, even though the latter might just get enough volume with that potent offense that all get a little piece of the pie. On the other side, i was wrong about the Eagles backs; it looks like Sanders is your man.

WR: So many rights here. All i told you to sit were stinkers.

TE: I was right about Gesicki and Brate, not so much about Everett.

D: Mostly wrong here. Wrong about the Steelers, Chargers, Dolphins and Chiefs, but i was right about the Raiders and Cardinals.

With that out of the way, let’s get into this week’s games.

QB:

Mitch Trubisky: He looked average throwing off his back foot every time. He is going against the Patriots, but still, i wouldn’t trust him to light it up.

Stafford: Still benching the Super Bowl QB. Was it him or the Bills D? He is going up against the Falcons, but they looked good for 3 quarters. I think he could be a boom or bust option, and i am going with bust again.

Mac Jones/Brian Hoyer: Not playing either one against a Steelers D that did what they did this past weekend, even sans Watt.

RB:

Najee Harris – He is definitely not healthy and his O line definitely provided no holes this past game for him to run through. Another 2 yard touchdown is what we can all hope for to salvage the day.

Dameon Pierce – Not sure if it was the rookie or Lovie Smith not giving him all the chances, but we need to see some consistency here before relying on him.

Akers – Like Pierce, not sure if it was him or the coach not letting him go. Need consistency here too.

WR:

Bucs WRs not named Mike Evans: Seems like whoever could play second fiddle could change each week. If between these guys and someone else, hopefully your someone else is not a boom or bust like these guys could be.

Ceedee Lamb: I wouldn’t start him simply because he plays for the Cowboys, but now without Dak. No thanks.

Darnell Mooney: Was it the weather? Maybe a little bit. Was it Justin Fields being an adequate QB? Probably that. He may have some big games, but I am not sure he will replicate against GB what Jefferson did.

TE:

Cameron Brate: I am still not starting this guy. He is the guy we think he is. Another game of 1 catch for 7 yards could happen again, or maybe against the Saints, he has 2 catches for 13 yards. You never know.

Cole Kmet: See Darnell Mooney

Kyle Pitts: Had a bad first game and now he has a week 2 meeting against the Rams who just held down Dawson Knox – the ingredients for a poor stat line.

Defense:

Texans: Colts got the stats just not the win. Russell Wilson will get his first victory and the stats.

Chargers/Chiefs: This week’s top potential shoot out.

Vikings/Eagles: Or is it this one?
