Reaction to Week 18 – The Starters:

Let’s see if my picks for this last week were beneficial and helped you move from 8th to 6th place in your league. First of all, at QB, I said to start Tyrod Taylor and Jordan Love. In his game, Love had 316 yards passing, 2 TDs, and a lost fumble. I was right to start him. Taylor had 297 yards passing, 38 yards rushing, a TD and a pick. Not quite enough; I was wrong to start him. At RB, I said to start Rachaad White and Zamir White. R White had 75 yards rushing, 18 yards receiving, and nothing else. A push here. Z White had 112 yards rushing and nothing else. Another push. At WR, I said to start Brandin Cooks and D. J. Chark. Cooks had 39 yards receiving and a TD. I was right to start him. And if he would not have fumbled at the one inch line, I would have been right about Chark, but he did, and I was not, for all he ended up with was 46 yards receiving and a lost fumble. At TE, I said to start Dallas Goedert and Taysom Hill. Hill had 51 yards rushing and 28 yards receiving. For a TE, this is a push. Goedert had only 1 catch for 4 yards and nothing else. I was wrong to start him. On team defenses, I said to start the Eagles and the Jets. I guess my hunch about the Eagles was something else, like heartburn, for they lost, gave up 27 points and had 2 sacks along with a pick. I was wrong to start them. The Jets, however, won, gave up only 3 points, and had 2 sacks along with 2 picks. I was right to start them.

Reaction to Week 18 – The Sitters:

Now, for the sitters, did I keep benched, or bench who I said to, and bring you to victory, or did I cause you to drop to the bottom? My bad. Did I dooooo that? At QB, I said to sit Baker Mayfield and Derek Carr. In his game, Mayfield had 137 yards passing and nothing else. I was right to sit him. Carr had 264 yards passing and 4 TDs. What tha? I was wrong to sit him. At RB, I said to sit Jonathan Taylor and Breece Hall. Taylor had 188 yards rushing and a TD. Another in the I was very wrong to sit category. Hall was worse, for he only accumulated 178 rushing yards and a TD. I was wrong to sit him too. For the wideouts, I said to sit all Chargers WRs and Terry McLaurin. McLaurin had 56 yards receiving and nothing else. I was right to sit him. The best Charger receiver was Palmer, and he ended up with 44 yards and nothing else, so I was right to sit him, and them, too. For the TEs, I said to sit Evan Engram and Travis Kelce. Kelce ended up not playing, so I was right to sit him. Engram, meanwhile, had 79 yards receiving and a TD. I was wrong to sit him. For the team defenses, I said to sit the Rams and the Steelers. The Rams won, held the 9ers to 20 points and had a fumble recovery along with 3 sacks. I was wrong to sit them. The Steelers also won, held the Ravens to 10 points, and had 2 fumble recoveries along with 4 sacks. You are welcome Yinz Nation. I am gleeful that I was wrong to sit them.
