Reaction to Week 14: No more bye weeks. How did your back-ups do in Week 14? How did I do? Did I back that player up? Let’s see. First off, at QB, I said to start Will Levis and Cooper Rush as your Hail Mary back ups. Levis only got 168 yards passing and nothing else. More like go to hail than Hail Mary. Am I right? I was wrong on this. Rush was better with 183 yards passing, 2 TDs, and a pick. Just over his projections, so while not a Hail Mary, still good enough to make me right to start him. For the RBs, I said to start Tony Pollard and Nick Chubb. Pollard ended up with 102 yards rushing, 22 yards receiving, and nothing else. Just enough for him too to make me right to start him. Chubb does not have the Steelers number for he only got 48 yards rushing and nothing else, thereby making me wrong to start him. At wide out, I said to start Drake London and Jakobi Meyers. London had 70 yards receiving and nothing else so I was wrong to start him. Meyers was slightly worse with 67 yards receiving and nothing else, so I was wrong to start him too. At TE, I said to start Pat Freiermuth and Will Dissly. The Muth got 48 yards receiving and a TD making me right to start him. Dissly got hurt and only obtained 19 yards receiving beforehand, thereby making me wrong to start him. For the team defenses, I said to start the Saints and the Bengals. The Saints won, barely, gave up only 11 points, along with 2 sacks and a pick. I was right to start them. The Bengals also won, gave up 20 points, along with a fumble recovery, a pick, and 3 sacks. I was right to start them too. Good to end on good notes. Let’s see who we should start for you people who are now in your playoffs. Yes Coach Mora, it is time to talk about playoffs.
QB:
Aaron Rodgers: He had his 1st 300 yard game last week, and this week he will have his 2nd as he faces the lowest ranked pass D in the Jags.
Bryce Young: He has been playing well of recent, and he has a plus matchup against a beatable, injury plagued Cowboys defense.
RB:
Brian Robinson, Jr.: He also has a plus matchup as he takes on a Saints team that is giving up the most yards per carry in the league.
Aaron Jones: He has been hi or low this year. Against a bottom 10 rush D in Chicago, who he torched earlier in the year, I’ll bet hi on him this week.
WR:
Calvin RIdley: He has not produced recently, but he faces a very porous and vulnerable Bengals pass D. The chances will be there.
Jakobi Meyers: I just keep trying to make it for him, but he is just not doing it. Maybe he will this week as he takes on a bottom 3 pass D in Atlanta.
TE:
Jake Ferguson: He is back from injury with a game under his belt, and now he gets to face a Panther pass D that is worst in the league against tight ends.
Kyle Pitts: He has not done anything of recent, but this week he faces a Raiders D that is bottom 3 in the league against the position. Good matchup.
D:
Commanders: They face a Saints team that barely beat the lowly Giants last week. Washington is better and should get the road win this week.
Browns: They are one of the best 3 and 10 win teams out there. They have beat both the Ravens and the Steelers. They are capable of getting a home victory against the Chiefs too.
