Reaction to Week 13: Did your starters start you off to a happy holiday season? Was I part of your happiness? Let’s see. First off, at QB, I said to start Matt Stafford and C. J. Stroud. In his game, Stroud had 242 yards passing, 7 yards rushing, and a TD. Not good enough. I was wrong to start him. Stafford ended up with 183 yards passing and 2 TDs. Just enough to make me right to start him. At RB, I said to start Bucky Irving and Christian McCaffrey. Irving ended up with 152 yards rushing, 33 yards receiving, and a TD. I was right to start him. McCaffrey was on his way to making me right, but he ended up getting hurt and was only able to accumulate 53 yards rushing, 14 yards  receiving, and nothing else before his injury, thereby making me wrong to start him. At wideout, I said to start Marvin Harrison, Jr. and Quentin Johnston. Harrison ended up with 60 yards receiving and a TD. I was right to start him. Johnston, unfortunately, only got 12 yards receiving and nothing else. I was wrong to start him. For the tight ends, I said to start Taysom Hill and Cade Otton. Hill got hurt in his game too and was not able to do enough with his 10 yards rushing, 37 yards receiving, and nothing else, before exiting with his injury. So, I was wrong to start him. Otton only got 20 yards receiving so I was wrong to start him too. For the team defenses, I said to start the Bucs and the Texans. The Bucs won, held the Panthers to 23 points, along with a fumble recovery and a sack. Just enough to make me right to start them. The Texans also won, held the Jags to 20 points, along with a pick. Close, but also just enough to make me right to start them. Alright, let’s just jump right into week 14, Mega Bye Week #2.

QB:

Cooper Rush: In a bind with another mega bye week this week? Here is your Hail Mary. Rush takes on a Bengals pass D that just gave up over 400 passing yards to Russell Wilson.

Will Levis: Hail Mary #2? Levis takes on the worst pass D in the league in the Jags. He has done well enough of recent, and he could top that against this poor D.

RB:

Tony Pollard: He has been poor with a few exceptions, but he has the potential to make another exception this week as he faces the lowly Jags D.

Nick Chubb: He got 2 TDs the first time out against the Steelers. So, why not just assume that he will get at least 1 this time around. He has their #.

WR:

Drake London: He faces a bottom 3 pass D in Minnesota. I say he gets back to some big game numbers like he obtained earlier in the year.

Jakobi Meyers: He is getting the targets, and what happens with lots of targets against a bottom 10 pass D?  The results can be mighty. I say the mighty will prevail.

TE:

Pat Freiermuth: He had his 2nd most yards 2 weeks ago against Cleveland, and his most yards in a game last week. Maybe there is a change in getting him the ball more. Maybe.

Will Dissly: He faces a Chiefs D that has given up the most passing yards to tight ends so far. Good matchup for him.

D:

Saints: It has been a while for them to be on the start side, but they are playing the lowly Giants. Even though on the road, they will win this game.

Bengals: Another team not usually placed here, but I say they bounce back and win on the road in Dallas. They are better than the Cowboys, but somehow the 2 team’s records do not show this.
