Reaction to Week 13: So, the last mega bye week of the year. Even with this, let’s see who I said to sit regardless, or is it irregardless? First of all, with the QBs, I said to sit Jordan Love and Baker Mayfield. For Mayfield, he got 202 yards passing, a TD, and a pick. Not good. I was right to sit him. Meanwhile, Love got 267 yards passing, 10 yards rushing, and 3 TDs. Damn. I was wrong to sit him. For the RBs, I said to sit DeAndre Swift and Derrick Henry. Henry had 102 yards rushing, 18 yards receiving, and 2 TDs. Ugh. I was very wrong to sit him. In his game, Swift had 13 yards rushing, 7 yards receiving, and nothing else. I was quite right to sit him. For the wide outs, I said to sit Cooper Kupp and Drake London. Kupp got 39 yards receiving and a TD. Above his projected output, so I was wrong to sit him. London got 8 yards and nothing else. I was right to sit him. For the other receiving guys, I said to sit Tyler Higbee and Logan Thomas. Thomas got nothing, so I was right to sit him. HIgbee did better with 35 yards, but he got nothing else too so I was right to sit him as well. For the team defenses, I said to sit the Saints and the Browns. The Saints lost, gave up 33 points, along with 1 sack, so I was right to sit them. The Browns also lost, gave up 36 points, and nothing else. I was right to sit them too.
Week 14 – The last of the bye weeks.
QB:
Matt Stafford: He has a Ravens D that has given up the least amount of passing TDs and gets lots of sacks. Not good
Jags QBs – Lawrence or otherwise: Cleveland is #1 against the pass. This is not good either for a hurt QB or a back-up. Sub city here.
RB:
Tony Pollard: I hope I didn’t jinx the Eagles this way, but they held him the last time they played Dallas and their rush D is still good.
Seattle RBS: All of them. San Fran’s rush D is #2 in the league. This means they are really good if you were wondering. Sit them all.
WR:
Nico Collins: With his fellow wide outs and TE hurt, he could see more double teams against an already stout Jets passing D. Calling all subs.
Devonte Smith: The Cowboys pass D has been pretty good. I think one of the Eagle’s wide outs will suffer. I’m picking, and hoping, it will be Smith.
TE:
Evan Engram: He got his 1st TD of the year last week. Time to go back to the bench this week. He has the #1 team against the position in Cleveland.
Cole Kmet: While the Lions have been not great against tight ends, they were against him the last time they played each other. Will they do well again or is he due? Survey says – nah.
Defense:
Giants: Their D has been playing well recently, but their offense is still poor thus keeping them on the field a lot. This week, they have the red hot Love. Not a match up to trust here.
Cowboys: Obvious right? No, well they have been good against the bad teams, and tthe half-way decent Hawks just put up some numbers against them. The Eagles can put up numbers too. Could be another high scoring – goes either way – kind of game for the Cowfolks. Hope you have a sub.
