Reaction to Week 12: Alright, thanksgiving weekend is over and time to get back to work. Let’s see how I did over the weekend. First of all, I said to sit Justin Herbert and Baker Mayfield. Baker had 139 yards passing, 14 yards rushing, 2 TDs, and 2 TOs. Collectively, I was right to sit him. In his game, Herbert had 217 yards passing, 47 yards rushing, 2 TOs and a TD. I was right to sit him too. For the RBs, I said to sit James Cook and Jonathan Taylor. Cook had 43 yards rushing, 37 yards receiving, and nothing else. I was right to sit him. Taylor had 91 yards rushing and 2 TDs. I was quite wrong to sit him. For the wide outs, I said to sit Courtland Sutton and Davonta Adams. Sutton had his TD streak ended and only had 61 yards receiving. I was right to sit him. Meanwhile, Adams had 73 yards and nothing else. I was right to sit him too. On the tight ends, I said to sit Cole Kmet and Parham and Everett. In their game, Parham got squat and Everett had 43 yards and a TD. So, I was right about one and wrong on the other – a push here. In his game, Kmet had 43 yards and nothing else. I was right to sit him. On the team defenses, I said to sit the Jaguars and the Browns. The Browns lost, gave up 29 points, had 1 sack and a fumble recovery. I was right to sit them. Meanwhile, the Jaguars won, gave up 21 points and had 4 sacks. I was wrong to sit them. Now that that is over, let us go ahead and kick into those guys we should sit, even on the last mega bye week of the season.

Week 13:

QB:

Jordan Love: As much as I loved being right to start him last week, and I was. It is back to the bench for him against the Chiefs top 3 pass D.

Baker Mayfield: I am not picking on him. I swear. He has had some tough matchups this year, and this week against the Panthers is another. The Panthers pass D has been much better than their run D. Not a good sub option this week.

RB:

D’Andre Swift: Since Hurts gets all the rushing TDs, Swift has to get the yards to be viable. He won’t be able to do that against the 49ers this week.

Derrick Henry: He was held to 43 and 19 rushing and receiving yards respectively the first time he played the Colts. He has been a boom or bust guy these days. Too much potential to be a bust this week.

WR:

Cooper Kupp: He hasn’t earned his way back to your starting line-up, right? Geez, I hope not. Keep him benched this week against the Browns, the #1 team against the pass.

Drake London: He is not a good sub option this week. He is going up against a Jets passing D that is top 5 in most all defensive passing categories.

TE:

Logan Thomas: They are just not throwing him the ball of late, and this week he has a Dolphins D that has been getting better and better against the pass.

Tyler Higbee: He just got 2 TDs this past week. He has the Browns this week, and they are the best against the position so far this year. Don’t drink his Kool-Aid.

Defense:

Saints: They have been up and down this year, and this week they have a Lions team that is quite talented. The Saints are an underdog at home. That should tell you something.

Browns: I mentioned not playing Kupp and Higbee against them, but I do think you should still sit the Browns D this week. The Rams have other offensive weapons that will produce, and the Browns offense just will not be able to keep up. Sit them again this week. Do it!
