Reaction to Week 11: All the single ladies show up for you this past week? Let’s see if mine did. First off, at QB, I said to start Brock Purdy and Justin Herbert. Purdy ended up with 159 yards passing, 40 yards rushing, 2 TDs, and a pick. Just under projections so I was wrong to start him. Meanwhile, Herbert got 297 yards passing, 65 yards rushing, 2 TDs, and a fumble. I was right to start him. For the RBs, I said to start Kareem Hunt and Rico Dowdle. Hunt ended up with 60 yards rushing and nothing else so I was wrong to start him. Dowdle did worse with only 28 yards rushing and 6 yards receiving with nothing else. I was wrong to start him too. For the wide outs, I said to start Deebo Samuel and Calvin Ridley. Samuel ended up with 22 yards receiving and nothing else making me wrong to start him. Ridley was a little better with 58 yards receiving, but with nothing else, I was wrong to start him too. For the tight ends, I said to start Dawson Knox and Will Dissly. Knox got 40 yards receiving, but with nothing else, I was wrong to start him. Dissly, however, ended up with 80 yards receiving and a TD, thereby making me right to start him. For the team defenses, I said to start the Browns and Texans. The Browns lost, gave up 35 points, along with 1 sack, 1 pick, and a fumble recovery. Not a road victory like projected, so I was wrong to start them. The Texans got the W, held Dallas to 10 points, along with a fumble recovery, 5 sacks, a pick, and a defensive score. I was right to start them. Alright, let’s see if I can do better in Week 12, the 1st of the 2 mega bye weeks.

QB:

Bo Nix: I guess I better wake up. He is starting to put up some high fantasy numbers. No reason he can’t keep it going against a beatable Raiders team this week.

Patrick Mahomes: Feels weird to tell you to start him, but if he is a matchup dependent QB for you, then this week against Carolina he should be in your line-up.

RB:

Brian Robinson, Jr.: Joe Mixon just put up a TD hat trick on Dallas. The opportunities will be there for Robinson against Dallas this week

Rico Dowdle: My hunch is Dallas will try to slow down, shorten the game, and run it more, especially since Washington is bottom 5 against the run so far this year.

WR:

Ladd McConkey: He is becoming the Chargers #1 WR, and this week he will be going up against the Ravens, who have given up the most receiving yards and TDs so far this year.

Josh Downs: He’s been putting up the yards, and this week his team will have to score to keep up with Detroit. The chances look good here.

TE:

Zach Ertz: I believe his projections are too low. He has a beatable Cowboys D, and, as the #2 receiver in Washington, he should have plenty of targets.

Will Dissly: Ride the hot hand against the Ravens who have given up some serious passing yards this year, including some monster games by tight ends.

D:

Buccaneers: Néed a D sub, check out the Bucs as they take on the Giants who are starting a backup QB. Good match up here.

Commanders: Another team whose D that has been up and down is Washington, but this week they have a depleted Cowboys team. Good match up here too.
