Reaction to Week 11: Okay, let’s see how my double single sitters panned out for last week. First of all, at QB, I said to sit Geno Smith and Baker Mayfield. In his game, Baker had 246 yards passing, a TD, and a pick. I was right to sit him. Meanwhile, Geno had 233 yards passing, a TD, and nothing else. I was right to sit him too. At RB, I said to sit David Montgomery and all the Bears RBs. Montgomery had 76 yards rushing, 22 yards receiving, and a TD. I was wrong to try and sit him. Meanwhile, the top Bear running back was Foreman. He had 14 yards rushing and a TD. Not good enough. I was right to sit him, and the rest of the Bears RBs. At wide out, I said to sit George Pickens and Dallas receivers not animal named. Pickens had only 38 yards receiving and nothing else. I was right to sit him. The best of the other Dallas receivers was Cooks, and he had 42 yards receiving and nothing else. I was right to sit all of them too. For the tight ends, I said to sit Evan Engram and Dalton Shultz. Engram had 29 yards and nothing else. I was right to sit him. And while Shultz only had 32 yards receiving, he did get a score. His numbers are above average, so I was wrong to sit him. And for the team defenses, I said to sit the Packers and the Raiders. The Packers got the W, held the Chargers to 20 points, along with 2 sacks and a fumble recovery. Solid numbers. I was wrong to sit them. The Raiders lost, gave up 20 points, had 2 fumble recoveries, a sack and a pick. Better than I thought. I was wrong here too. Alright, let’s see who had too much stuffing and needs to stay on the couch.

Week 12:

QB:

Justin Herbert: Hear me out. You either need to taper your expectations this week or take a risk and bench him for a sub potential. Myself, I choose not to play him against the Ravens who have given up the least amount of passing TDs and have the most sacks in the league. This latter fact is especially concerning considering the Chargers O line issues.

Baker Mayfield: He is not a good sub option this week. He has a Colts team who have gathered more INTs than passing TDs allowed. Keep him benched.

RB:

James Cook: He has the Eagles who have given up the least amount of rushing yards and TDs so far this season.

Jonathan Taylor: He has the Bucs who are tied for giving up the 2nd fewest rushing TDs and are 3rd in lowest ypc. Not a good match up.

WR:

Courtland Sutton: He has a TD in his last 5 games and has scored a TD in all but 2 games this year. Not gonna happen against the Browns who have given up the least amount of passing yards and are tied for least amount of passing TDs allowed. Sit him this week.

Davante Adams: The Chiefs just shut down A. J. Brown. Why would I not assume the same thing will happen to Adams this week.

TE:

Cole Kmet: Big or little. Boom or bust. He has Minnesota this week, a team that held him to 9 yards and no score earlier this year. Which do you believe: he is due, or he is determined? I say he is determined. Sit him.

Parham and Everett: It does not matter if one or both plays. Bench them both. They are going up against Baltimore, one of the top teams against the position.

Defense:

Jaguars: They just had a good week, but this team is volatile. They are a 2 point favorite at Houston. I’m not buying it. Houston is pretty good, especially their offense. I wouldn’t start the Jags here.

Browns: Yes. Their D is good, but this just feels like a L. They have a question at QB, and they are on the road against a Broncos team whose defense has been playing really well recently. I would sit them if I have a good sub option.
