Before we get into Week 11’s Sitters, let’s see what I got right and what I got wrong with the sitters from week 10.

QB: Well, Tannehill had a slightly above average game with 250 plus yards, 2 TDs, and no turnovers, so, I guess I was slightly wrong to bench him. Jones was above average for him and probably average for fantasy so we can call this one a push. He had below average yards but 3 TDS. I hate it when old State Farm (Aaron Rodgers) is right. Can you count on 3 TDS each week? He is not getting the yards.

RB: Denver running backs posted 24 yards, 24 yards, and 9 yards rushing with no TDS. So, I was right to sit all of them. Conner had a poor ypc but enough yards with 2 TDS to make me wrong about sitting him. And now that Benjamin has been released, he is a more stable option to start. Sanders got more yards this time against Washington, but still only 54 yds with no TD, so I was right to sit him this week.

WR: Of course Godwin led the team in yards. Of course he had a TD. Of course I was wrong to sit him. Of course. Of course. Meanwhile Allen Lazard had 45 yards with no TD so I was right to sit him. But back to being wrong, where did McLaurin come from? Where was the Eagles D? 128 yards receiving. Yeah, I was wrong. I still do not know what happened there.

TE: Hock had 45 yards with no TDs, a below average output so I was right to sit him this week. Freiermuth had 36 yards with no TDs, a more below average output, so I was right to sit him, too. Gesicki had 31 yards with no TDs, a more more below average output, so I was right to sit him, too. What did you just say? He has a bye week next week? I can’t do start/sit without Gesicki in one of the articles. Why, god, why?

D: 16 points allowed, 3 sacks, the win and a fumble recovery. Maybe Tampa should move to Germany. I would be good with that. Bye bye Brady bye bye. Oh, yeah, I was wrong to sit them. If I lay out the stats, it might make some of you sick, so let me just say that I was right to sit the Brownies this past week. The Packers did get the win, but they gave up 28 points, over 400 yards, got 2 picks and 2 sacks. The extras probably put them over the top, making me wrong to sit them.

Let’s see who is available to maybe consider not starting or benching this week regardless.

QB:

Derek Carr: Denver has given up the least amount of passing yards and TDs so far this year. He played poorly the last time they played. They should just hand the ball to Jacobs all game.

Matt Ryan: After getting beat by Washington at home, I expect a bounce back game by Philly, a team at the top of the league against the pass.

Ryan Tannehill: I know the Pack gave up some stats to Dak, but Tannehill is no Dak. The Pack will pick him apart.

RB:

Aaron Jones: In that same game, on the other side, if you can, sit him. The Titans have given up the 2nd least amount of rushing yards and only 2 rushing TDs so far this year.

Joe Mixon: If you can sit him, sit him too. The Steelers are close to the top in yards per carry and have given up only 5 rushing TDs so far this year.

D’Onta Foreman: If you can sit him, sit him three. The Ravens are the 3rd best in the league against the run and there is a better chance than not Carolina is playing from behind, which should mean more Chuba Bubba.

WR:

Amari Cooper: Yes, Buffalo just gave up a bunch of yards to Justin Jefferson this past week. However, Buffalo is still a good defensive team and Cooper is no Jefferson. Man, he is not even Weezy.

Terry McLaurin: I say this past week was an anomaly and he goes back to between 30 and 70 yards. Maybe I was just off by a week regarding when to sit him.

Diontae Johnson: He has made this list before. He has been more miss than hit this year and and will be a miss this week against a Cincy defense who is better than average against the pass.

TE:

Tyle Higbee: I ranked him high last week and he proved me right. This week he is going up against a Saints team that is No. 1 against tight ends. Sit him down.

Hayden Hurst: He was below average against Pittsburgh the first time they played this year, and he has been below average since. This trend will continue.

Cole Kmet: He has 5 TDSs in the last 3 games. You drinking the juice? Is he hot? Is this his new norm? (I hate that phrase.) I say the TD streak ends against Hot Lanta.

D:

I told you to sit the Browns D against the Dolphins and you listened to me. Now I am telling you to keep sitting them, this time against Buffalo. Duh.

The Cowboys are going up against a Minnesota team who is 8 and 1 and I have no idea how. They just somehow pull it out. This could be a slug match and the risk is too much to count on Dem Boys to be a solid start.

Atlanta gave up 25 points to Carolina this past week. Now they are up against a hot Chicago team. A team that is finally producing statistically. Okay, well maybe not for everybody. Either way, not a good D play this week.
