Before we get into Week 10’s Starters, let’s see what I got right and what I got wrong with the starters from week 9.

QB: I said Fields might get some rushing yards. Well, he ended up rushing for more yards than he threw and was responsible for 4 TDs. So, I was right about him being a good starter for the week. Speaking of being right, Geno had another solid outing with 275 yards passing, 38 rushing, 2 TDs, and 1 Int. However, even though I was right, he would not get many passing yards. I was not right about Mariota getting the rushing yards I thought he would, in order to make up for the lack of passing. Figures a Falcon would be my downfall.

RB: Mostert did get a TD, but only 26 yards rushing. These stats say a push. Wilson got more action than I thought for his first game with them. If I had Mostert, I would be concerned. I was wrong about playing Dillon. He didn’t do anything in the air or on the ground, but neither did Jones so that makes me feel kind of better. While I was closer with Jamaal Williams, with no TDs and 81 yards rushing, his output would be considered slightly below average making me wrong.

WR: I was wrong to start Drake. Has he bottomed out already? Ugh. Even though he didn’t score, Palmer had 106 receiving yards. This output makes me right to start him. If Kupp wan’t such a ball hog, I would have been right about Allen Robinson, but he is, so i wasn’t.

TE: Engram got a massive 8 yards with no TDs. It was close, but I was wrong to start him. I was also wrong about Everett who also had no TDs and only 36 yards receiving. Well, Fant saved me from being wrong all around for he got 96 yards receiving, and, even with no TDs, that is solid from a tight end not named Kelce or Andrews.

D: Aren’t the Raiders better than this, or are “they are who we thought they were?” They gave up over 400 yards, lost the game and nothing extra. They were horrible. So, it was close, but i was wrong. Meanwhile, the Chiefs got the win, gave up a total of 229 yards, gave up 17 points and had 3 sacks. This made me the opposite of wrong. Also, with a win, 17 points allowed, a fumble recovery and 2 sacks, the Chargers made me right too. As well. Also. Whatever.

Alright, we are on the backside of bye week season. Time to figure who is left and available to possibly put in your starting lineup for this week.

QB:

Matt Stafford and the Rams have not been Super Bowl quality this year, but they have a plus matchup with Arizona this week. Survey says …

Jacoby Brissett. The Dolphins win, but they give up stats while doing so. They will give it up to Brissett this week too.

Justin Fields. I told you to start him last week and you did. Now, I am telling you to start him again; this time against the Lions. Play the hot hand.

RB:

Leonard Fournette. I was right when I told you to sit him last week, and I will be equally right this week when I tell you to start him. Put him back in. Seattle will give up some stats to him.

David Montgomery. He has not been demonstrative, but this game against the Lions could be a good bounce back game for him. The Lions have given up the 2nd most rushing TDs so far this year.

Jeff Wilson, Jr. He got a lot of carries in his first week with the Dolphins. With that in mind, one should presume he should get even more touches the 2nd week. With more touches, you know, more stats.

WR:

Allen Robinson. Maybe I was a week early when i said to start him last week. Maybe someone told Kupp not to be such a ball hog. Maybe somebody told Stafford he has more than one wide receiver on his team. Maybe. Just maybe.

Chris Olave. He might be a starter for you, but if not, then this could be a good week to put him out there. Did you see what A. J. Brown did to Pittsburgh last week?

Terrace Marshall. He has seen 9 and 6 targets with 87 and 53 yards with one TD in the last 2 weeks. This week, he is going up against the Falcons who have given up the most passing yards in the league so far this year.

TE:

It was earlier in the year, but Pitts had his best game of the year against Carolina. Roll the dice and hope he has another good one against them.

Greg Dulcich. He has been on a roll, and this week he is going up against a Titans D that is much better against the run than the pass. I say he stays hot.

Evan Engram. KC is good against the pass, but they will get soft at the end because of the massive lead they will have over Jacksonville. Unlike last week, this time, garbage time, is when Engram will shine.

D:

Have you played the Raiders D at all this year? Did you listen to me and play them last week and got burned? Well, now is the real time to play them. There are lots of changes and problems in Indy. This might be the best time to play them all year.

Pickett has been a turnover machine and the Saints, well they like themselves some turnovers. This could be a win for them with lots of lagniappe.

Has the Seattle D earned a weekly play for you? For most probably not, but this week I would be confident in starting them against a Tampa offense that is for from offensive.
