You are in a league now and you have a team name, probably some derivative of a football player’s name. Am I right? I was going to start this article discussing pre-draft research, but that would be preaching to the proverbial choir, a little bone for you religious folks out there. By looking at our website you are already a leg up on others in your league. If you go into a draft raw, and no one likes to go into anything raw, you are already at a disadvantage. Do you want to be the person who goes, who the hell was that person that just got drafted? Oh that guy, he is just the next great starting RB1. Don’t be that person. I am not saying you have to buy all the magazines, read all the websites, watch all the pundits, and exhaust your life with this stuff (like Winsto over there). All I am saying is do a little something, because even a little research will provide you with information that will make your team solid if not adequate.

So, you are doing some research, and of course starting/including us is the smartest move you have made yet. You now have an idea who you want and possibly when. Here is where it gets complicated – draft type. The type of draft you do will determine everything. There are keeper drafts whose strategy varies with those that are one and done. There are snake drafts and auction drafts. The strategies between these 2 are quite different. So, I am going to end my article by not giving you any specifics on how to do a perfect draft. Why not? Because we are too close to the season and most of you have probably already drafted by now. If you have not drafted yet by chance, then go chalk, that will put you at least somewhere in the middle and then continue to follow us throughout the season and we can help you make your adequate team a good one. If you have already drafted, then let’s move on to the guts of the matter.
