Is this your first time doing fantasy football? Maybe, but probably not. Is this your 25th year doing fantasy football? Maybe. Most likely, you are somewhere in the middle. Whether your first year, 25th year, or somewhere in between, I hope my babbles provide you either with some insight or some confirmation that what you thought you thought is what you should or should not think you should think.
There are so many types of leagues. There are keeper leagues and those that are one and done. There are leagues that play 1 QB and those that play 2 QBs. There are those who play one flex and those who play 3 flex positions. There are those that play team defenses and those that play individual defensive players. And on and on and on. So, the kind of league you create, join, etc depends on what you prefer. If you are looking for some knowledge on league type to create or join, I can’t help you. The type of league you are part of is one you think would be fun for you. Do you want one that emphasizes QB play? Do you like leagues where your roster is only 10 spots vs 20 spots? Do you want to be in a keeper league? One with individual defensive players vs team defenses? Oh wait, or are you the person who just joined their brother-in-law’s league out of obligation and you could care less regarding the type of league and you just want to shut his mouth and beat him, preferably at the same time. Well, both of you have come to the right place. Join your league. Come up with a cool, original, not stupid team name. Then let us talk about your draft.
