If I could go back and redraft I would have never picked WR Cooper Kupp in the 1st round of my work league. Never draft hurt players is always a standard rule in fantasy football. I should have followed it, but instead I am missing what should have been my most productive player for at least the first month of the season. Not the way to start the season.
If I could go back and redraft I would not draft a backup quarterback. I drafted QB Jordan Love in one league because I had some concerns about my starting QB Deshaun Watson. Love had a great 1st, but I wish I had grabbed WR Zay Flowers at that spot. There are still several viable options for backup quarterbacks on the waiver.
If I could go back and redraft I would have grabbed at least one more IDP player. I had a couple of guys get banged up in preseason and they underperformed in Week 1. Next time I will grab a backup IDP.
If I could go back and redraft I would have passed on a kicker. Sure K Jason Sanders had a good Week 1, but I already dropped him for K Jake Moody in Week 2. It’s easier to find a kicker than good flex players. There were several guys still available that I would have rather had. They are no longer available, Sanders is on the waiver wire.
If I could go back and redraft I would not have kept RB Jonathan Taylor. In a keeper league my choice was between Taylor and WR Davante Adams. The same rule applies here concerning drafting hurt players. Not sure if Taylor is hurt, but he is not playing and that hurts. Sure Adams is older, but he is lining up on game day.
